After logging in, you’ll see the eligibility dates listed below each of your numbers.
If a line is eligible, click “Transfer Upgrade,” pick the line you want to upgrade and then select the new phone that will replace the old one.
If you’re the owner or manager of your account, you can also log in to My Verizon to view this information. And if it’s not time for an upgrade but you just can’t wait, you can always purchase a new device at the retail price.

Updating the roaming capability is done the same way for every Verizon phone.
If it is, the screen will read: “Your Device is compatible with the Verizon Wireless Network.” (Don’t know what your Device ID is?
No worries—the same page will show you two easy ways to find it.) When you’re ready for a new device, you have the option to pay off the remaining balance of your current device anytime you want.
